Mahesh Solanki, DDS
Dr. Mahesh Solanki attended the UCLA School of Dentistry, graduating in 2014 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He continues to advance his education regularly, completing 30-60 hours of continuing education training each year. He has received advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign®, and implant dentistry. Dr. Solanki has practiced in the Philadelphia, PA, area for 3 years.

Dr. Solanki grew up in India, and has been married for over 3 years. He and his wife have a beautiful baby girl. Outside of the office, his hobbies include tennis, gardening, photography, and being a father.
Dr. Thang Nguyen

It is our pleasure to announce the addition of Dr. Thang Nguyen as a new member of staff in Whitman Dental Center. Dr. Nguyen comes to us with several years of exceptional training and learning in the field of dentistry. His experience will be exceptionally helpful as we continue to expand and provide the best possible care to our patients.
Dr. Thang Nguyen graduated from Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. He emerged as one of the top 20 students in his class. Additional to this, he graduated from Drexel University as a Chemical Engineer. His engineering background can be advantageous in various medical advances.
In his time as a student at Temple University, Dr. Nguyen displayed extraordinary abilities. As a result of his devotion and hard work, he was among the chosen participants of the Oral Surgery Honor Program. Each year, only ten candidates are chosen from hundreds of applicants, and he qualified to be among the chosen.
Dr. Nguyen is passionate about dentistry and providing the highest quality of dental care to his patients. Through his effective communication, Dr. Nguyen will be able to develop strong relationships and better understand the needs of his patients. He is highly driven and enthusiastic about applying his analytic thinking, technological expertise, and precise attention to detail, all of which are skills that benefit patients’ dental health.
In his free time, Dr. Nguyen spends his time playing soccer as well as volunteering at local animal shelters, which helps him connect with the community and make a real difference in people’s lives.
We are ecstatic to have Dr. Nguyen as a medical staff member. We believe he will be an excellent fit for Whitman Dental Center because he possesses the skills and competence we need in the field of dentistry. Dr. Nguyen will begin seeing patients in early of July and is looking forward to building new, stronger, and more caring relationships with you, while also taking care of your general oral health in the process.
